Richard Socher is a founder, investor, and researcher in artificial intelligence. He is currently the co-founder and CEO of You.com, the #1 AI search infrastructure for enterprises.

He’s also the co-founder and managing partner of AIX Ventures, where he’s backed multiple AI unicorns from an early stage. Richard is one of the world’s leading AI researchers and the 5th most-cited in all of natural language processing, with over 230,000 citations.

He previously served as the Chief Scientist and EVP at Salesforce after the company acquired his first AI company, MetaMind, in 2016. Richard holds a PhD from Stanford and also served as an adjunct professor in the computer science department.
